The rules in the educational institutions of the UK and the USA
Make the list of the rules accepted in the educational institutions of the UK and the USA (school, colleges, universities). The list shouldn't include less than 5 and more than 10 rules.
The rules in The School of Choice (Sunnyvale, CA) 1. We obey the rules of the American republic: state laws, school rules and student rules. 2. We do not tolerate alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, weapons, initiating fights, bullying, stealing or vandalism. 3. Students will face severe penalties including suspension or expulsion (without refund) for cheating, racism, pornography, plagiarism or lying to school teachers and authorities. 4.We do prohibit unnatural hair colors, spikes, eyebrow, nose and tongue piercing, cutoffs or excessive exposure of skin. 5. Full-time students must not miss more than thirty days of class a year, and may miss this much class only with valid medical or other excuses as attested by their parents.

So, we're speaking about school rules.... Honestly, I never really liked school rules, 'cause they seemed to me very awful and disgusting. Speaking of rules in the U.S.A. there are some silly ones: 1. One shouldn't touch the computer in the principal's office. 2. All cell phones/MP 3 players should stay in a person's locker. If one goes off in class, he'll never see it again. 3. No blood stuff is allowed ( and some really want it!) 4. No khakis are allowed. 5. No male hair longer than the collar is allowed. 6. No playing cards/gambling during class hours. 7. No running in the hall.

Sam, 13, London: "In our school you aren't allowed to wear shoes with shoe laces, because we get told that we could trip up or use them as weapons." 3. Hannah, 13, Newcastle: "We're not allowed to carry our bags around with us because we're told it's a safety hazard. We have to carry all our books around in a big pile and someone's always dropping them!" 4. Children in Gloucestershire are being told to not wear goggles in school swimming lessons because they are a safety hazard. 5. Eva, 14, London: "We aren't allowed to wear jackets with a designer name on it because they say it gives our school a bad name."
